Elder
Allow us to introduce Marius Bester, a respected elder within our Redeemer Fellowship community. Marius’s life is deeply rooted in faith and is marked by dedication and service.
Marius’s aspiration to serve as an elder is indeed a noble task, and his dedication to the well-being of our congregation reflects this calling.
Born in the seventies and educated in the eighties, Marius graduated in the nineties, all in his beloved Port Elizabeth. For more than two decades, he has passionately served as an accountant in the automotive industry, demonstrating the values of diligence and commitment in his career.
Marius is happily married to Marietjie, and together, they have raised three adult children.
Elders in Redeemer Fellowship are inspired by biblical wisdom, and a verse that resonates with Marius's leadership is: 1 Timothy 3:1 (NIV) "Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task."
The Bester family became a cherished part of Redeemer Fellowship around 2011. Since then, Marius has been a pillar of strength, wisdom, and spiritual guidance within our community.
